THANKS FOR ANOTHER INCREDIBLE YEAR AND A HAPPY NEW 2012 FROM RED ALERT 2011 blasted off with the band playing to 1000 people at the NEC Hilton Metropole, Birmingham. Theatres that the band had never played before were visited and STEAM-ROLLED over.......Torquay, Salisbury, Surrey, Mansfield, Derby, Altrincham, Leicester to name a few. The band also played at the Melia Hotel in Benidorm, Spain for the first time also! September saw the release of their PEEP SHOW album on Download, selling to fans from all different parts of the world including the Netherlands, USA, Germany, Australia etc. What does 2012 have in store? Loads of gigs already lined up for just about every month already - check them out on the TOUR DATES page. September will be 25 years since the band formed and started rehearsals. 20th February 2013 will be the 25th Anniversary of the very first RED ALERT gig. What special event(s) will be set up to celebrate this??? WATCH THIS SPACE!! |

THANKS FOR ANOTHER INCREDIBLE YEAR AND A HAPPY NEW 2011 FROM RED ALERT The record for most miles travelled in one year gets broken every year! 2010 saw the first trip to Scotland for the band....2 gigs performed for the very welcoming Scottish fans. Since playing at the very beautiful and prestigious St David's Hall, Cardiff, South Wales in 1989, the band's ambition has always been to return. In 2010 Red Alert performed there on TWO occasions, blowing the roof off the place each time! The band have TWO more gigs planned there for 2011; the first being in February so if you're from South Wales (or anywhere else for that matter) then get onto the Tour Dates page urgently!! The band have also been busy in the studio again working on a collaboration project so watch this space! This will be the 23rd year gigging so it's time Red Alert slowed down right? WRONG!! There are gigs lined up throughout 2011 up to October already to date including the band's first trip to Spain so be sure to get on the road Rockin' with them again! "THANK YOU" once again to all the fans, friends and team members that have supported the band in 2010. |
| 30th December 2009 | THANKS FOR AN AMAZING 2009 AND A HAPPY NEW 2010 FROM RED ALERT The record for most miles travelled in one year was broken again! The first half of the year bulletin appeared on this website on 19 July. The second half of the year saw the band returning to Bromgsrove, Bridgnorth, Nantwich, Bundoran (Ireland) etc. and playing in areas for the first time, Morcambe, Collbridge to name a few. Too many achievements to mention so let's just say "THANK YOU" to all the fans, friends and team members that have supported the band in 2009. You think you've seen the best of Red Alert? Think again - THE BEST IS YET TO COME! |

To quote some comments "Best Rock n' Roll/Country Rock album ever made?", "Excellent variety of song types all within the album's theme", "WOW - can't stop playing it! The cover isn't bad either!!" |

| 19 July 2009 | RED ALERT has completed the immensely successful tour with the Voice of Elvis - DOUG CHURCH from the USA. Also on the bill was 50's Elvis Tribute Artist, Darren H. Other very special gigs have been the Park and Dare Theatre with Nathan Belt (from Texas USA) with his Elvis Tribute and also on the bill was Mike Nova and Ricky Aron; and the Swansea Grand Theatre with top UK ETA and Stars in Their Eyes winner, Gordon Hendricks. For promotion of these gigs, Red Alert appeared several times on BRFM and GTRM Radio in special programmes. There are many new YOUTUBE snippets flying around from these gigs. There are already some Nathan Belt, Ricky Aron and Mike Nova snippets and keep your eyes peeled for Doug Church snippets that will be coming soon! |
